Meet the Team
Teri Patterson
I lost my hearing in my 20s, which introduced me to the Deaf community and ASL. After getting cochlear implants in 2011, I can hear well enough to speak on the phone, though ASL remains central in my life. In 2020, I faced another challenge with sudden vision loss that required cataract surgery. These experiences give me a unique perspective when supporting both the Deaf and hearing Medicare communities. I truly value building friendships and providing ongoing support to my members.
Phil Patterson
Born and raised in North Carolina, I understand the needs of my neighbors. When I met Teri, she was Deaf, and we communicated only through ASL—an experience that gives me a unique perspective on serving the Deaf community. Since 2018, I’ve been providing insurance services alongside my wife.
